Zagame news – December 2024

Welcome to our final edition of Passion for 2024. These last few months have been as busy as I’ve seen for new model launches and events which is terrific.

Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Fiat and Rolls-Royce have all announced new models that are here already, or on the way. Plus we’ve had clients on-track and involved in our events. Having Bruno Senna visit us was a highlight, and the Ferrari Melbourne Passion Day couldn’t be better named – a brilliant reminder of how our brands excite people.

There’s news here about some new cars coming in 2025 (more on that in the New Year) and a chance to secure your F1 Grand Prix seats.

Before the year ends, I would just like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy Christmas season and every success for 2025.

For now, please enjoy all the news our team has put together for you below.

ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH

Traditions become traditions for a reason.

A car this high-tech could never be called old-fashioned. But you might be tempted to call the new Aston Martin Vanquish ‘traditional’ – in the best possible sense. Think Saville Row vs. Silicon Valley.

Few cars are this purposeful, proportional, or beautiful. And it’s a view that only improves from the driver’s seat. The new digital controls, screens and analogue switchgear seamlessly meld into an ergonomically sound, driver-focused whole.

Upfront the 835hp, twin turbo V12 engine sounds like an event, even at idle. Traditions like this deserve to live on. In short, both the performance and the styling of the new carbon fibre bodied Vanquish will take your breath away.

Just 2000 of these iconic vehicles will be ever manufactured, so they will always be exceedingly rare. But it’s not rarity that makes this car so special. It’s the decades of focused, utterly dedicated passion and tradition. You can see it – but more importantly – you can feel it.

Our first Vanquish will arrive early in the new year. To be first to see it please contact Aston Martin Melbourne.

Audi Q4 e-tron

Is this the world’s most practical electric SUV?

You’ve decided on an electric SUV. You want substance AND style. Where do you turn? Into the driveway of your nearest Zagame Audi dealership. The Audi Q4 e-tron might just be the perfect car for people who want a clever solution, not a statement.

It’s an effortlessly simple, stylish, luxurious, really rather quick SUV. It just happens to be powered by electricity. The Audi Q4 55 e-tron has 250kW of power, 545Nm of torque, and the ability to get from 0–100km/h in just 5.4 seconds. Quite the package.

Inside, it feels like an Audi should. Everything is ergonomically arranged and impeccably designed, with controls exactly where they’re meant to be.

Audi interiors have long been considered among the automotive industry’s finest. Electrification hasn’t changed that. The Q4 feels more like a seamless transition than a mad re-imagining.

And it’s all the better for it.

Our Q4 e-tron demonstrators have now arrived. It's a test drive to excite.

ROLLS-ROYCE CULLINAN SERIES II LAUNCH

Perfection is an elegantly moving target.

We recently launched the Cullinan Series II at Lume in Melbourne, surrounded by the works of Leonardo DaVinci. This immersive celebration of art and science seemed a fitting environment to launch this new Rolls-Royce.

Leonardo’s quest for perfection sees many parallels in the Cullinan Series II.

The new LED Matrix headlights are brighter and safer, and their incredibly fine lines make them more beautiful than ever.

New alloy wheel designs are 23 inches - purposeful and elegant.

The iconic Pantheon grill is more aerodynamic and illumiated for stunning effect.

Inside, the technological integration has made the interior of the new Cullinan feel even more luxurious. Few other car makers have managed this remarkable feat. What other brand could create seats that utilise more than 11 miles of thread in the embroidery alone?

For many, the Cullinan has redefined what a Rolls-Royce can be. Calling this vehicle an SUV almost seems impertinent. This incredibly successful fusion of art, science, ultra-luxury and practicality has reset all the targets once again.

Test drive Cullinan Series II now at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Melbourne.

Doing laps. And doing good.

Recently Charity Drive Days returned to the Phillip Island Racing Circuit. These days are always highly anticipated given Phillip Island is easily one of the most exciting tracks in Australia.

Over the two days, we had many clients including McLaren, Aston Martin, Ferrari and even CUPRA owners on the circuit which shows just how deep the committment to helping others runs.

We’d like to thank all the Zagame customers and friends who took part in the track days and charity auction raising more than $150,000 to help children in need.

We can’t wait for the electric Alfa Romeo Junior to arrive in Australia - it's just a brilliant example of how passion influences automotive design.

BRUNO SENNA AT McLAREN MELBOURNE

A breakfast with Bruno Senna.

There are few more evocative surnames in motorsport than Senna.

Bruno is the nephew of the late Ayrton Senna - who was also Bruno’s first driving instructor, as we learned over a coffee.

Of course, Bruno is incredibly successful in his own right, with a career spanning Formula 1, multiple open wheeler classes and winner of the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Bruno gave us fascinating insights into competing at the uppermost levels of motorsport, his duties as a McLaren test driver, and yes, what it was like having Ayrton as an uncle.

Bruno is a genuinely warm and engaging personality. It was an absolute pleasure to learn more about his life and experiences.

It was also our first opportunity to unveil the all new Artura Spider that we snuck into Melbourne only days before the event.

Thanks to all those who took time out to attend, and to McLaren for the opportunity.

PASSION DAY AT FERRARI MELBOURNE

Richmond turned red for a day.

The crowds for the 2025 Passion Day at Ferrari Melbourne reminded us just how deeply and widely the Ferrari brand is loved. With a collection of the latest and greatest Ferraris ever made, it was a Passion Day to remember.

77 years of rich Ferrari history were celebrated throughout the day along with coffee, gelato, pizza and refreshments. Ferrari Melbourne were proud to showcase cars from many of Ferrari’s most significant eras.

Insights were shared with special workshop talks and the chance to learn from Ferrari technicians, owners and admirers. With Ferraris, we’ve learned there is always a story worth sharing.

Noteworthy cars on display included the Roma Spider, 296 GTB, 296 GTS and Purosangue.

An iconic line-up of Ferrari history was on show including the Daytona, F40, F50, Enzo, La Ferrari, and a very special SP3 Daytona. We’d like to sincerely thank the many owners who took part.

BRABUS G800

What’s harder than hardcore?

These thumping machines are the Brabus G800. We recently delivered these two cars in Melbourne to great friends.

Each is a long way from its already special beginnings as an AMG Mercedes-Benz G63. The conversion in Germany alters and upgrades a huge range of the car’s components. This includes upgrading the suspension and handling, the exhasust stystem, improving the stability and aerodynamics, a bespoke interior, and most spectacularly - upgrading the already formidable performance with 800 horsepower on tap.

There's literally nothing that sounds quite like these incredible V8s.

There's no other project like designing your own Brabus. Zagame Automotive will manage the entire process for you. So it’s not just exciting, it’s easy too.

The end result is a 1-of-1 Brabus that’s uniquely yours, with performance like nothing else. Unless of course, you order two.
