Success & TCT gearbox the Geneva focus for Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo 4C

Alfa Romeo will use the Geneva International Motor, which opens its doors next month (March 2012), to celebrate the sales success of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta and, just days after its arrival in Australia, focus on the new TCT transmission versions of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta which are set to transform sales of stylish five door hatchback in Australia.

Last year saw great growth for Alfa Romeo, both in terms of image and sales. This success was driven by an increasing market realization that Alfa Romeo offers with the Giulietta a car that combines the traditional Alfa Romeo virtues of style and performance with a new found level of convenience and practicality. Increasingly, they are chosen by a target which is more mature and demanding, including a greater number of families with children, effectively extending the brand’s offer to a diverse customer base. The image of the brand has also been consolidated to no small extent, above all thanks to the Giulietta.

At the cutting edge from a technological point of view, with engines which bring out its sporting spirit, the Giulietta proves a functional car in a position to offer superior space and comfort, but economical at the same time, as demonstrated by the diesel engine service intervals, with servicing scheduled only every 35.000 km.

What’s more, a year from launch, and taking into account the recent 2011 assessment by EuroNCAP, it’s the safest car in the category, with a 5-star rating and the highest ever value in its reference segment among the cars tested, with 87/100.
